What You'll Do
The Nominating Committee ensures strong leadership for Historic Red Hook by identifying and recruiting passionate individuals to serve on the Board of Trustees and key committees. Key responsibilities include:

Board & Committee Recruitment – Identifying and vetting potential candidates for leadership roles
Succession Planning – Ensuring a pipeline of qualified individuals for future board and committee positions
Elections & Appointments – Overseeing the nomination and election process for new board members
Diversity & Inclusion – Seeking a broad range of skills, perspectives, and backgrounds to strengthen our organization

What We're Working on Now

🗳️ Preparing for upcoming elections and board transitions

Time Commitment
🕒 Meets as needed, typically a few times per year. Most work involves outreach and discussions outside of meetings.
