Here, Historic Red Hook hosts lectures that spark curiosity, soup and chili nights that foster connection, and events that bring history to life. We collaborate with local schools to inspire students and deepen their understanding of the community they call home. Our annual Cemetery Crawl has become a beloved tradition, engaging audiences of all ages in the rich and sometimes surprising stories of our past. Behind the scenes, we care for our archives, safeguarding documents, photographs, and memorabilia that might otherwise be lost.

Looking ahead, we are excited to envision the Inn’s next chapter, enhancing the Elmendorph as an even more active place for sharing Red Hook’s history, including:
